For many years, my dude, Brad, and I have made our way to Big Bear in the summer, at least twice, and we always knew we were "at home" when we bellied up to the bar at the Big Bear Bar and Grill, where we caught up with the best of the best of the locals and the amazing owners and employees, a family, really, at the B.B. Bar and Grill, which we lovingly referred to as "The Big Bear Country Club." Arriving in Big Bear yesterday, and pulling up to the B.B. Bar and Grill, only to find that this heavenly spot is closed, broke our hearts, truly. The word on the street is that the owner raised the rent. What an ass. What a complete and total ass! The B. B. Bar and Grill was a beloved spot, a Big Bear gem, a source of community, comfort, humor, and all things that are good. The pox upon you, owner of the Big Bear Bar and Grill, you nasty piece of gristle. And our love to you, Mike, and to all of you at the B.B. Bar and Grill. Love and best wishes, Meg and Brad
The service is 5 star and the ambiance is casual yet classy. The bartender provided service with a smile. This is the first time I have been here and I am so sad to find out that corporate GREED is shutting down a local favorite. This beautiful place is closing it's doors permanently on 04/05/2024
I love Big Bear, bar and Grill for Sports and Food and Oki. The owner is especially awesome. Hopefully tracy is in town and he will meet him. This place rocks and they also have live music and karaoke.
If you like Jamaican food, this is the place to eat. Tried several dishes and all were excellent. There are two locations but I've only been to the Lagoon City/Brechin one. Natalie and her family are very welcoming. I'll be going back.
It was amazing. Perfect loving mountain atmosphere! They made me the best hot toddy's and I was smitten!
